What is Clown Crew Matinee Operatics in Yu-Gi-Oh!?
Clown Crew Matinee Operatics is a Continuous Spell Card from the "Clown Crew" archetype. During your Main Phase, it can Special Summon 1 "Clown Crew" monster from the Deck or Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. During the End Phase, it lets you draw cards equal to the number of different monster card types (Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, Link) Tributed that turn, then you can Set 1 Spell/Trap from your hand. You can only use each effect once per turn.
The End Phase draw effect is what matters here: depending on how your turn went, you draw 1 to 6 cards. The more different monster types you Tributed, the more you draw — and the higher your odds of finding a specific card.
This calculator estimates the probability of drawing at least 1 copy of a given card among the cards you draw, based on the state of your Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck at that point in the duel.
The mathematical formula
Letting N the number of cards remaining in your Deck, K the number of target cards it contains, and n the number of cards drawn, this is a draw without replacement described by the hypergeometric distribution. The probability of drawing no target card is:
P(0) = C(N−K, n) / C(N, n)
The probability of drawing at least 1 target card is therefore simply 1 − P(0). The calculator applies this formula directly, along with the full distribution of how many target cards you could draw.

- 2. Number of target cards : Enter how many target cards (a single card, or several combined) are still left in that Deck.
