What does Toy Soldier do in Yu-Gi-Oh!?
Toy Soldier is a Level 4 LIGHT Warrior monster (1500 ATK / 1000 DEF). You can Set it from your hand to your Spell & Trap Zone as a Spell; if this Set card is sent to the GY, you can Special Summon it.
If it is Normal or Special Summoned, you can add 1 "Toy Box" from your Deck to your hand, or, if you control "Toy Box", 1 Level 4 LIGHT monster instead. Each effect can only be used once per turn.

The rules the tool applies
- "Toy Box" at any time : With no condition, Toy Soldier adds the Continuous Spell "Toy Box" to your hand: it is the base search, available from the very first Summon.
- Level 4 LIGHT monster, with Toy Box : If you control "Toy Box" when the effect resolves, Toy Soldier can add any Level 4 LIGHT monster instead (exactly Level 4), whatever its Type, ATK and DEF. Another Toy Soldier is a valid target.
- Field condition not calculated : Controlling "Toy Box" depends on how the duel unfolds: in decklist mode, the page calculates the odds of opening Toy Soldier, not of having Toy Box on the field at the right time.
- TCG et OCG : Cards released only in the OCG are listed with an “OCG” badge; the “TCG cards only” checkbox hides them.
How to use the tool
- 1. Every card in the game : Every target is listed, most viewed first. Filter by name, Attribute, Type or Level, and sort by ATK, DEF or release date.
- 2. In my decklist : Import a deck (YDKE code or saved deck): the tool separates the cards of your deck the effect can reach from those it cannot.
- 3. Adjust your deck : Spot the targets you are not playing yet, open their card page, then test the new list in the deckbuilder.

Yes. Without a face-up "Toy Box" on your field, Toy Soldier can only add "Toy Box" itself.
If it is sent to the GY from the Spell & Trap Zone (for example by Toy Box's effect), you can Special Summon it, which triggers its search again.
