What does Dark Magical Curtain do in Yu-Gi-Oh!?
Dark Magical Curtain is a Quick-Play Spell: each player can Special Summon 1 DARK Spellcaster monster from their hand or Deck, but neither player can activate their effects this turn.
If you Special Summoned a monster whose original name is “Dark Magician” or “Dark Magician Girl”, you can then add 1 Spell/Trap that mentions “Dark Magician” from your Deck, except Dark Magical Curtain. You can only activate 1 Dark Magical Curtain per turn.

The rules the tool applies
- DARK Spellcaster monster in the Main Deck : Any DARK Spellcaster monster in the Main Deck, whatever its Level, ATK or DEF. Your opponent can Summon one too.
- From the Deck only : Only Main Deck monsters are listed: Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and Link Monsters are not in the Deck.
- TCG et OCG : Cards released only in the OCG are listed with an “OCG” badge; the “TCG cards only” checkbox hides them.
- Banlist status : Each target shows its status on the TCG banlist: Forbidden, Limited or Semi-Limited.
How to use the tool
- 1. Every card in the game : Every target is listed, most viewed first. Filter by name, Attribute, Type or Level, and sort by ATK, DEF or release date.
- 2. In my decklist : Import a deck (YDKE code or saved deck): the tool separates the cards of your deck the effect can reach from those it cannot.
- 3. Adjust your deck : Spot the targets you are not playing yet, open their card page, then test the new list in the deckbuilder.
