What does Pharaonic Advent do in Yu-Gi-Oh!?
Pharaonic Advent is a Level 8 DARK Spellcaster monster (2000 ATK / 2000 DEF). You can Tribute 1 monster to Special Summon it from your hand, and it gains 300 ATK for each Continuous Trap on the field and in the GYs.
Its search effect: you can Tribute 1 Fairy, Fiend or Reptile monster to add 1 Continuous Trap from your Deck to your hand. In return, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn.
Each of its effects can only be used once per turn. Any Continuous Trap is a target: the deckbuilding question is which one to fetch, and which ones your deck already plays.

The rules the tool applies
- Continuous Traps only : Normal Traps and Counter Traps are not targets, whatever their effect.
- Any Continuous Trap : No archetype or name condition: every Continuous Trap in the game is listed.
- Cost: Fairy, Fiend or Reptile : The search requires Tributing 1 monster of one of these three Types: import your deck to see which ones you play. Pharaonic Advent is a Spellcaster: it cannot Tribute itself.
- No more Special Summons : After the search, you can no longer Special Summon monsters this turn: Summon Pharaonic Advent before using this effect.
How to use the tool
- 1. Every card in the game : Every target is listed, most viewed first. Filter by name, Attribute, Type or Level, and sort by ATK, DEF or release date.
- 2. In my decklist : Import a deck (YDKE code or saved deck): the tool separates the cards of your deck the effect can reach from those it cannot.
- 3. Adjust your deck : Spot the targets you are not playing yet, open their card page, then test the new list in the deckbuilder.
