YGO-Decklab is an online Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG deckbuilder. It lets you build your deck (Main Deck, Extra Deck, Side Deck), analyze its composition, simulate opening hands and plan your competitive siding strategies.
The Main Deck must contain between 40 and 60 cards. The Extra Deck can hold up to 15 cards (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Link). The Side Deck can hold up to 15 cards for swaps between duels.
A Starter is a card that initiates the deck's main combo. Having at least 1 Starter in your opening hand is often essential to establish your board. Between 9 and 12 copies of Starters are recommended in a 40-card deck.
Consistency is calculated using the hypergeometric distribution. For a 40-card deck with 9 Starters, the probability of drawing at least 1 in a 5-card opening hand is around 79%. YGO-Decklab calculates these probabilities automatically for each card role.
Siding means swapping cards between the Main Deck and the Side Deck between duels in the same match. The goal is to adapt your deck to the opponent's archetype by adding more effective cards (IN) and removing less useful ones (OUT).
